Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary’s mission is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

Eligibility for Membership: We are the male and female spouses, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. Some of us are veterans ourselves.

American Legion Auxiliary - Unit 113

Founded in 1932, Sons of The American Legion exists to honor the service and sacrifice of Legionnaires.

Eligibility for Membership: S.A.L. members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership.

Meetings will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7pm.

Eligibility for Membership: There are three requirements for membership (You must meet all three). There will be no exceptions to the membership rules.

1. Be a current member of the American Legion, Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion.

2. You must own a motorcycle of at least 350cc in size or be the Legal spouse of an owner who is an ALR Association member.

3. Members must meet all Kentucky (or other state where licensed) motorcycle registration, insurance and license requirements.

Hardin Unit 113 Juniors Program

Meetings will be held on the second Saturday of each month at 10AM in the Juniors room.

Junior Auxiliary membership is open to girls from infancy through age 17. The Junior Activities program prepares girls to become active adult members of the organization by providing positive volunteer experiences that instill the ideals of the Auxiliary.

Junior SAL membership is open to all male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in service during World War I, and December 7, 1941, to date, as set forth in Article IV, Section 1, of the National Constitution of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for membership in the Sons of The American Legion.
